The next barrier fell. Since we moved our downloads to Sourceforge in June 2006, TortoiseSVN has been downloaded more than two million times.
Including the nearly 800.000 downloads on Tigris.org, we can say that TortoiseSVN really is a successful open source project.
We've moved our web pages from Sourceforge to our own server. And we've also bought the domain name tortoisesvn.net. Please adjust your bookmarks.
Now we can finally run the scripts we want on the server. An example is the commit statistics page. We also will run some scripts to automatically generate the graphs which show the progress in the translations.
Sourceforge.net has been testing Subversion for about a month now for selected projects. Seems that beta phase was a success, because I was informed that Sourceforge.net will enable Subversion support for all projects by the end of this week.
That means a lot more users of TortoiseSVN, people hitting the mailing lists and hopefully the docs and FAQs.
